Genoese four-leaf clover bedside table – 18th century
Elegant bedside table in the center, veneered and inlaid with the “four-leaf clover” or “heart” motif, with two small doors and an open compartment on the front.
The piece of furniture has arched legs and is entirely in fir veneered in violet with rosewood threads, with inlays and heart motifs on the front, sides and back.
The vents, handles, lock, key and shoes are in gilded bronze, but not contemporary.
The original top is in marble and is a previously restored purplish breach, which matches perfectly with the furniture.
