Ancient Flemish pictorial study of a dog
Excellent Flemish pictorial study of a wounded dog trapped by ruins; the painting, in its particularity, becomes a representation worthy of a wunderkammer, for the unusual representation, which represents in detail an unusual scene and not the usual hunting dog.The painting has been reduced by a few centimeters, relined and framed with a later frame (late 19th century) and with an irrelevant plate. The painter should be studied.
